New bookmarks in NicePlace collection [Leave Your comment]

NicePlace is very happy for the new addition of bookmarks as it means that people are still reading books. At least we hope so. Some of the bookmarks, with especially loved motives have already experienced an additional print, but – let’s talk more about the new ones.

The ethnographic collection of the op-art objects – notepads and magnets – have also been joined by four bookmarks which will dazzle and trick your eyes: the Tree of the Sun, the symbol of the Sun, the symbol of Jumis (Fertility sign) and the Fire-cross. You can create gift sets :)

The second foursome of bookmarks has been created in collaboration with the National History Museum (NHML) of Latvia and is decorated with motives from its collection: two very beautiful pearl shirt collars from Kurzeme; as well as wonderful women’s knee socks from Zemgale and an excerpt of the lithograph made in 1863, with a view of Riga from the Vērmanes garden.
