The collaboration between NicePlace and 1/4 Satori continues [Leave Your comment]

Our good friends ¼ Satori have opened their doors in Bergs Bazaar (Berga bazārs), and our collaboration is continuing − now in the Bergs Bazaar you can also find NicePlace things: postcards, bookmarks, magnets, notepads, coasters. In other words the assortment which can be summed up as paper things.

As the people who have set up the new book-store are saying themselves, the basis of the idea for the room are four values – education, culture, business and openness.

In order to spend time interestingly there will be regular lecture courses on different subjects, from religion to physics and bioethics. A constant value for 1/4 Satori is books – mainly used books and mainly in foreign languages, the kind of books you won’t be able to buy elsewhere. The place will offer regular concerts and literature in live performances – book openings, poetry and prose readings.

A totally new niche is the Office area (Birojnīca) which has been opened in the premises of ¼ Satori − it is a creative, accessible working environment for curious entrepreneurs, designers, IT and marketing specialists, the self-employed, researchers and every other talent in their area. The Office area (Birojnīca) means an open full service office for its subscribers − everyone is welcome to come with their laptop and work in ¼ Satori premises, to use the fastest public internet in Latvia, print, scan and fax, use databases and services of the LETA news agency and Lursoft, as well as sip tea and drink coffee for free.
