Wishing beautiful Midsummers for all of us! [Leave Your comment]

The festive week and the working days before the most beautiful and traditional Latvian festival – Summer solstice – has arrived.

Just a short while ago NicePlace heard an opinion, that this festival is actually a sad moment as the night will start to become longer again and the hours of daylight will become less and less. But – we won’t talk about sad things! Let’s celebrate one of the shortest nights of the year, jumping across bonfires, singing songs and swimming at sunrise :)

As a present from NicePlace − we have created two new and beautiful postcards especially (but not only!) for the festival, which you can still manage to get and give as a present to your Midsummers hosts, or already put in some visible place for the remembrance of summer during those long and dark winter nights.

We wish for us all to have enough patience to wait for Thursday and to experience a beautiful festival!
