For your evaluation we now have the artist sisters Anta and Dita, as we think lovely and witty postcard sets have been created „Beavers” (Dita Pence) and „Do it yourself!” (Anta Pence). More than 80 thousand beavers have decided that Latvia is a nice place and have therefore earned their honor to decorate NicePlace postcards in Dita’s interpretation. Even more interesting and thought provoking is the fact that these animals live in the very heart of Riga − Opera canal. The set of postcards, created by Anta „Do it yourself!” are multifunctional: these postcards can be used as samples of embroidery and you can prepare for yourself for example a pincushion or such like; you can take part of the activities shown on the postcards. Well – do whatever you wish to do with them! :)
Two other postcards are reproductions of the artist Andris Vītoliņš works – the painting „Trinity. In Memoriam” and wall-painting „Ambulance”. You can recall in your memories times when the roads of Soviet Latvia and Riga were filled with the vehicles shown on his postcards or simply enjoy the beautiful paintings! NicePlace, for example, does one as well as the other. :)
We should say that this is the first time in the history of the existence of NicePlace when guest artists have taken part in the creation of souvenirs. Let them be honored!
