Zane Ernštreite

The designer of the visual image of NicePlace and the creator of ideas. A girl from an industrial multinational provincial town. She graduated from the Academy of Arts of Latvia with a masters degree and with great joy alongside the work at NicePlace she also works as a book artist in the publishing house „Neputns”. She is a laureate of several book art competitions.

Likes: Latvia, despite all its numerous deficiencies. Especially Liepaja. Its equivalent in the South – Sarajevo and in the North– Helsinki. Friends and may-lillies. Russian constructivism. To sing. To dance as well :)

Wishes: to create things with the heart more than with the calculator for the people for whom Latvia is not only a country of transit. To learn how to play guitar. To buy a blotter (if you have one, let me know!).
